Who Can Join as an Eye Camp Sponsor?

A wide range of stakeholders can collaborate with Innovation Eye Centre to sponsor an eye camp, including individuals, faith-based institutions, corporate organizations, financial institutions, hospitals, community-based NGOs, welfare and recreation groups, farmers’ associations, and local leadership. We seek partners who are genuinely committed to advancing community health and are motivated to support impactful eye care initiatives through meaningful collaboration.

Choosing an Ideal Camp Location

The venue—preferably a school or similar large facility—should be easily accessible and able to support camp operations. Dates are chosen to avoid local events or other outreach activities, ensuring maximum participation. The location should also serve as a central point for surrounding communities to access the services.

Role of Sponsors

Sponsors play a key role in facilitating the smooth operation of an eye camp. Their responsibilities include preparing an appropriate venue preferably a school, or community facility with essential amenities such as seating, electricity, and water. They also support community mobilization and local awareness efforts to ensure strong participation. In addition, sponsors provide accommodation and meals for the medical team to enable efficient delivery of services.

Sponsors are expected to:

Assign a dedicated team of members or volunteers to support community outreach and mobilization.
Provide accommodation and meals for the medical team
Organize local transport for patients from surrounding villages if the camp site is not easily reachable.
Allocate the necessary manpower and budget to prepare the venue and carry out extensive publicity using available communication channels. The outreach coordinator from Innovation Eye Centre will collaborate with the sponsor to ensure effective planning and promotion.
